Biography
Dr. Corin Kinkhabwala is a fellowship-trained facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon practicing at The Stern Center for Aesthetics in Bellevue, Washington. He focuses on gender-affirming facial surgery, both feminization and masculinization; deep plane face and neck lifts; rhinoplasty, both cosmetic and functional; eyelid and brow surgery; and facial reconstruction.
How he works
Every plan starts with listening: what you want to change, what you don't, and why. Dr. Kinkhabwala walks you through your options in plain language, including the procedures he'd advise against, and morphs your photos with you so you can see the plan before you commit to it. Sometimes, patient and surgeon decide together that surgery isn't the right path.
He chooses techniques case by case, based on your anatomy, your goals, and the current evidence, not on a single signature method. And he plans for results that look natural now and age gracefully.
Training
Dr. Kinkhabwala completed his fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Virginia Mason in Seattle, training under Drs. Michael Nuara, Wayne Larrabee, and A.J. Flaherty. He completed his residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina, a nationally ranked program, and is board eligible with the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. A New York City native, he studied music composition at Colgate University before medicine; his works have been performed by the Dover Quartet.
Research
Dr. Kinkhabwala publishes peer-reviewed research and presents at national meetings, and brings that work into how he practices.
He serves on multiple national committees for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
